University College of Engineering is not very expensive and its fees are moderate. For B.Tech., the tuition fee is INR 22,090 for the Karnataka students and INR 1,81,140 for students from other states. Accommodation costs are at around INR 10000 per annum to INR 35000 per annum including for Hostel fees which is INR 50000 to INR 70000 per annum. Other expenses are Admission fees = INR 10, 000 and Examination fees =INR  5000. Total estimated cost for 4-year B.Tech. program:INR 2.5 Lacs (Karnataka) to INR  7.5 Lacs (other states of India). • The University College of Engineering is moderately expensive in terms of fee. Therefore, the total fee annually for B.Tech courses will amount to around INR 70,000 or may be slightly more comprising tuition, registration, and other dues. This is usually a fee too reasonable for most private colleges, but it remains a significant expense for students anyway. To top it all, the living cost in Patiala also forms part of the overall expense. In a word, the fees are not among the cheapest, but they seem moderate enough for the college, given the kind of education and placement it offers.
