    Yes University Institute of Technology is government college the university of Burdwan is only one government Technical college.which is good for needy students.

    Who can't afford private engineering college they can choose this government college which is provide better quality of Education

    University Institute of Technology (UIT), Burdwan, is a government college. It is a constituent unit of The University of Burdwan, a public university in West Bengal, India.

    Hi.University Institute of Technology, The University Of Burdwan  is the only Govt. Engineering College affiliated to the University of Burdwan in the entire Purba  Bardhaman district.

    The Institute was established in the year 2000. With the approval of Govt of West Bengal and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Institute has been running Bachelor of Engineering courses in six disciplines.Thanks
