The tuition and fees at Tulane University in New Orleans, including room, board, and fees, total $75,098. Meanwhile, at the University of California in San Diego, tuition and other costs for out-of-state students total $59,799. Therefore, it appears that the University of San Diego may be more affordable than Tulane University. However, the cost of living in San Diego is reported to be 49.7% to 52.5% higher than in New Orleans.
