Is upes dehradun better than any NIT COLLEGE

Is it good to invest(pay as fees excluding hostel)9lakh Rs. in a private college named UPES DEHRADUN where campus ranges from 4 to 16 lakhs? I am getting POWER SYSTEM BRANCH there .

yes, but only if you wish to go and join power sector afterwards, else for specific branches like electronics, CS, mechanical etc, NITs rank very high.
