I would not say excellent. But, it is a decent college that provides suitable courses and a lot of specializations in various fields. The packages offered are same as any other engineering college. I will not say that it is excellent for engineering. But it is good in comparison with other Private colleges. It's study is also well mannered and placements are also quite good.

Yes, UPES is an excellent university located in Dehradun. Its good for engineering especially petroleum engineering. This University ranks 17th in india by NIRF.
