Is UPES good for CSE?

As UPES is famous for petroleum engineering, it has the best placements for petroleum engineering. But also, its CSE is also very good. You can get a good placement if you are an above average student. For CS, top recruiters in UPES are LNT, Microsoft, VMware, IBM, Dell etc. The highest package offered this year was around 17-18 LPA for CS branch (in my knowledge).

UPES is a great place to pursue Computer Science Engineering course. The University offers quite a few specializations like Blockchain, IT Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance, Computational Sustainability, Big Data, Business Analytics and Optimization, Cloud Computing and Virtualization Technology, Cyber Security and Forensics, DevOps, Graphics and Gaming, Oil and Gas Informatics, Open Source and Open Standards, among others.
Many of these programs have been created in academic collaboration with IBM, Xebia, and Oracle.

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies is not only good for upstream but other branches too.
Being a student at UPES, I can tell you that I have seen 18 LPA package in other branches too. -
