Candidates can apply for the post of Primary Teachers (Class 1 to 5) and for the Upper Primary Teachers (Class 6 to 8). Basically, the UPTET Exam is held for two papers - Paper I & Paper II.
Paper I is for those candidates who want to apply for the Primary Teacher role and on the other hand Paper II is for those candidates who want to apply for the Upper Primary Teacher role.
