    Veer sai university of Technology is a government and institute. 

    Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) Odisha was formed by Orissa Act 9 of 2009 by converting University College of Engineering (UCE), Burla to a non-affiliating Unitary University and came into force by issue of notification by the Industries Department, Government of Odisha from 1st day of July 2009 (Vide memo No.IV/TTI-33/2009-8553 and 8564 dtd.10th June 2009. The 1st Statutes of VSSUT, Burla 2010 has been approved by the Odisha Government vide Industry Department notification

    Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) is a government-state university in Burla, Odisha, India. It was established in 1956 as the first engineering college in Odisha. It was originally called the University College of Engineering (UCE).

    In 2008, students campaigned for the college to be recognised as an independent university. The university was founded in 2009.

    VSSUT is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It operates on a 350-acre campus and provides education to over 5,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs, including a PhD program.

    VSSUT is a state government university in Odisha, and it's approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), which is a big deal. It used to be called the University College of Engineering, Burla.

    Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology started as the first engineering college in the state back in 1956 under the guidance of the Odisha government. It's a place for engineering and technology education.

It is the oldest engineering college in Odisha and was established in 1956 as the University College of Engineering (UCE). In 2009, UCE was granted the status of a unitary university and renamed VSSUT.

    Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology also formerly known as UCE, Burla is one of the the oldest degree granting institutions in Odisha.

    It is a Government institute.

    It is known for its excellent track record of producing world class engineers, many of who today hold key leadership positions in numerous multi-national corporations.

    It has more than 60 years of legacy of serving the nation and that is something to reckon with.
