    VELS School of Law is comparatively considered to be Tier 2 in terms of Indian legal education. The law school offers many courses, such as B.A. It only caters to LL.B (Hons), B.B.A. LL.B (Hons) and LL.M degrees and cannot be compared with premier institutes, not that the NLUs or for that matter, other major institutions of repute, like the law faculty of Delhi University or even IIT Kharagpur.
    The Bar Council of India has recognized the college. Pragmatic training is given through moot courts besides legal aid clinics. However, placement records as well as overall visibility in the job market of lawyers are not so competitive in compar
