Is VIT, Bhopal a better college for CSE as compared to LPU?

Dear Dr. Sanjay, Being alumni of LPU, I will highly recommend LPU for the CSE programme among these private universities based on a few points: Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. Ranking: 1. For Focus on Affordable and clean energy, LPU has 1st rank in India 2. For Decent Work and Economic Growth, LPU has 2nd rank in India 3. VIT is definitely a good university. Being a faculty of LPU I can say that the B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. Well-tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities have left many NITs far behind. The B Tech CSE programme primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. That are needed to build and solve problems using computers The curriculum taught here is of international standard. Highlights 1. The CSE dept. Of LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA). The university has state-of-the-art labs with the latest software to provide hands-on practical exposure to students. 2. IITs and NITs are also appreciating campus-wide facilities in terms of IT. 3. I am not quite aware of VIT, Bhopal for their CSE programme but I an aware of CSE programme from LPU, so I will be sharing certain details of LPU with you. Dear Sakshi, Well, as per my knowledge all the Universities are doing good at their end but If you will ask for CSE branch then without any second thought I will suggest you to choose Lovely Professional University. My cousin brother has completed same course from LPU and his experience at LPU was amazing, he has learnt a lot. Few point I would like to discuss:- LPU keeps pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum that provides the WILD CARD entry to the industry. Some of the industrial Tie-ups include Google, SAP, Cisco, Bosch, Dell EMC, VMware, PEGA Systems, Intel, Microsoft. Many tech giants enforcing the students to adapt to the technology advances. LPU provides Instill knowledge in the major areas of Computer Science and Engineering such as Artificial Intelligence, Networking, Databases, Data Analytics, Web Development, and Cloud Computing. In addition to core curricula in LPU, the course offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. There are good faculty members that help you become more dedicated to the studies and helps you at each and every phase in your studies. Faculty is best. They provide us basic as well as core knowledge and makes you learn in a better way. The way of teaching is much better and makes you aware of things around you. Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. One of my friends did B.Tech (CSE) from LPU and she is working in an MNC now. I had a conversation with her regarding her 4-year journey in LPU and I am going to share her experience with you. 1) The staff is highly qualified many from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. And most of them are Ph.D. 2) The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job. 3) The placements at LPU are excellent. The preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. 4) There is more than twelve Center of Excellence established by reputable companies like Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. The highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student MS Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft.
