    The department of Civil Engineering of VIT has well-equipped laboratories (all lab has EMIL equipment), research facilities and the state-of-art computing facilities.     No, it is not good you should go for IIT Guwahati Roorkee. Otherwise, many state government colleges which is very good for you.

    Hello Avns,
    Well VIT is not considered as a wise choice for civil engineering because less number of core civil companies come for placements and at the last, you need to settle yourself in any IT companies, so is it worth to pay more than Rs 10 lakhs and get an average IT job, so please search for other option. However, if you are very much inclined towards civil engineering only and you have no other options left then go for VIT.
