Dear Rohit, Mechanical is often called evergreen field, but it is very dynamic in nature, you need to have the curator who upgrades the curricula constantly. VIT, is a decent name, but I would suggest you to go with LPU !

That depends upon what other options you have. VIT Vellore has a very good reputation. Mechanical is an evergreen branch. Have a look at the companies visiting the college at the college website and decide whether your dream company is in that list. Accordingly, you can take admission.

Mechanical engineering is always on the demand, where ever you go, there's always a need of mechanical engineer. But, a mechanical engineer from VIT is more preferable than many other college. Because, it's the way we learn the subjects, with experienced faculties and VIT follows a way of learning through doing and seeing. Which gives you a deeper knowledge of the subject.
