Is Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology good?

No not at all. Stay away from this college. I enrolled to this college. They fooled us so bad. Firstly, they fooled us by changing the name of the institution. On the Orientation day we were informed that the college name is Dr. Kariappa School of Art and Design management. There is no permanency of lecturers in this institution. Also, there is no intimation of exam schedules in time. First semester started in beginning of August. Till january we didn't have any information regarding when is this semester going to end. Plenty of times; we asked for date sheet for semester examinations, but there is no response from anyone. Management is irresponsive at all times. We approached our Principal and Chairman many times in person or through mail but there is no response from them. They take the original documents and later on deny to give them back. Guys, me and my classmates were fooled and had to leave the college within the 1st sem itself. Please do not go for this college. They are just keeping the money to themselves and not providing the required resources and spoiling students' careers. And do not follow the website. Its all fake. The counselors make a good fool of the students. Do not spoil your career joining this college.

I am so glad someone asked this. The college as such is alright. But please do not get mislead by what is shown on the internet. DRAWBACKS: Location - Most of the people get deceived by the location. Kindly note that the college campus is actually outside Bangalore (Doddaballapur) in a textile industrial area. (Nope, they don't take you to see those industries. Maybe just 1 if you are lucky). The area is a typical rural area. Travel - The college provides college buses (thank god) as transportation is a huge problem when it comes to that area. Those who come from the city will have to travel for 2 hours. Also, in case you miss the college bus, no cabs are ready to take you to that place as it is on the outskirts of Bangalore. And you may travel in local bus but the stop will be outside the industrial area. Then you have to get an auto (It is not easy to get one) to travel inside for another 5 minutes. Food - The college canteen provides food but is always limited. Well, if you are lucky and on time, you may get a chance to eat breakfast (time= 10 minutes. If late= no food). If you think that we can eat from outside the college, don't even think about it, there are hardly humans in that area. Dress code - Uniform! And if you think that might look stylish, no- you get a uniform that is super uncomfortable. You have to wear ties too. Basically, you will have just 2 pairs of uniform which will be given to you in the first year for the rest of the years (2/3 years). If you grow or shrink in size- well, don't. Because that is going to be your problem. Don't expect to get a new uniform. Get a new one stitched by yourself if you want. Most importantly, vogue is absolutely not related to Vogue magazine or anything. So basically, considering these above factors, I would suggest to look for a college that is more convenient.
