Eligibility Criteria for Indian Students:
- Pass Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45%.
- Pass a minimum of 3 subjects in the 'A' Levels and 5 Passes in the IGCSE / GCSE including English.
- Appear in the Manipal Entarnce Test (MET) exam held by the Manipal government.
- Have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent
For Foreign Students:
- 10+2 of India obtained from recognised Central (CBSE / ISC) or State Boards
- GCE ‘A’ Levels
- International Baccalaureate (IB)
- Others like 12 Year High School Diploma from accredited Schools of USA; 12 years General Secondary Educatio

WGSHA has a 30 minute multiple-choice exam for admission to assess candidates knowledge, skills and confidence. The exam has no negative marking for the same. Following the exam candidates partcipate in the group discussions, panel interviews and individual interviews to assess their communication skills. A merit list is then created considering all of the above. All this can be easly mastered with repition and diligence for the exam meaning that it is not that difficult to crack the exam as well as the interviews.
