Is William Carey University good for MBA?

<p>WCU, in Shillong Meghalaya, is a private institution established in 1892. It's recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in art, commerce, science, management, engineering, design, and animation.</p><p>The college offers two separate MBA courses.</p><p>The first being <strong>MBA Executive</strong> which, as the name suggests, is a 1 year post graduate course allows you to acquire the qualification in a span of just 12 to 15 months. For someone who cannot afford to take a long break from their job this option is obviously a more suitable choice. The one year degree is cheaper by virtue of the fact that it can be completed in a shorter time frame. In terms of benefits, the one year course offers more value primarily because it adopts a practical and applied approach. The experience of working in an organisation for a few years will help you understand theoretical concepts and its implications in a much better manner.</p><p>The second type is the <strong>regular MBA</strong> course that avails a rigorous curriculum and space to grow in HR, Finance or Marketing depending on what specialisation you choose later in your course.</p>
