Is work experience mandatory to get admission in IIM? Can I write CAT to pursue MBA through distance learning?

I had completed my graduation in engineering in 2017 with 79%. Then I got married. I'm a homemaker. I have no work experience. I have planned to do MBA distance education in IIM or big Universities.
