You can get placed in insurance companies for marketing quite easily, but only insurance companies. So it depends on you, if you want to go in insurance company for marketing.

Yes you can pursue marketing as a specialization. You will be getting the Marketing specialization starts from the second year. NIA course curriculum is designed in such a way that Insurance subjects are given more importance. Insurance Marketing is one of the challenging areas where you can build your career. Last date to apply to NIA is 15/03/16. All the best.
