    Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) is a private institute. It is a curricula unit of St. Xavier's College, Autonomous, which is a private college. XIC is managed by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) of the Bombay Province.

    Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) is a private institute. It is a professional media center that offers certificate and postgraduate diploma programs in various fields of mass communication, journalism, public relations & corporate communication, advertising & marketing communication, radio jockeying, graphic design, and more. XIC is established and run by the Mumbai Jesuits in 1969. XIC is one of the biggest non-government media centers in Asia, and is anked among the top 5 media institutes in India for the last 10 years.

    The Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) in Mumbai is a private, autonomous college. It was established in 1969 by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India to promote scholarship and professionalism in the media. 
     
    XIC is one of the biggest non-government media centers in Asia. It offers courses in: Mass communication, Journalism, Advertising and marketing, Diploma courses, Certificate courses. 
     
    XIC is ranked number one among the top 35 private mass communication colleges in India. However, its diplomas and certificates are not valid for government or public sector jobs.
