Dear Gaurav, B.Tech from LPU cannot actually be compared to any other institution in the country. Following points make it entirely a different experience altogether:
Large number of specializations within the streams. E. g CSE has about 8 specializations within its ambit. Large number of industry trainings like SAP, MOOCs and many more. Huge diversity of students and faculty. It actually depends on the course you are applying for. But, overall if we see, then LPU is far better than YMCA Faridabad due to it's awesome placement record, infrastructure, exposure.

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT, commerce, arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .
