Yes, it is true. You can get one of the best finance faculty and infrastructure required for finance studies at IIM, Calcutta.

We cannot say that it is the best option. It can be the best in any one area such as faculty, academics, student life or placements but being best overall is tough. All the old IIMs are at the same level that is what I think. IIM-Calcutta is obviously one of the best business schools in our country.

IIM C is better than rest of the IIMs including IIM A in finance. It is just an opinion and there is no hard fact supporting it. Here are some arguments and counter arguments for the same: Argument - Students from IIM A finance opt for more consulting roles than IIM C. Counter Argument - It does not

One of the best B-School in India are the IIMs mostly the abbreviation are A,B, C that is Ahmedabad,Bangalore and Calcutta. The ranking usually varies between these three sometime on the first position its Bangalore followed by Ahmedabad and Calcutta . Yes, for finance top B-School is IIM,Calcutta.
