It is often said that girls are not fit for mechanical engineering, is it really true? I am really interested in joining mechanical.
I am Sonali Rivankar, from Goa, I m an average student from 12th,I like physics and maths, but in a great confusion, as mechanical engineering is a male dominated field, will I have a problem in finding a job in future? if I do mechanical engineering what are the job opportunities?

It is not true, it is other way,lot of girls are there. i am a mech engineer and through out my carrier i have found lot of girls doing well in their domin.
Also it even girls can be mechanical engineers.
It is not that mechanical engineer requires physical strength.

No Sonali it is not true any more. In the era before the eightees it was true to some little extent but with the change in technology and change in approach the scenario has changed. It may be a fact that girls do not give an option for Mechanical and there are boys mostly. But, we can't say that girls are not particularly suited for the Branch. If it comes to that they may not be suited for Police and Military, but , still, they are doing well there.

Yes your are right , journaly girls not take mechnical engg , i also check out that there is no girls in mech engg , some times any girrl found in mech engg class
