    Hello,
    If your dream is to make career in the lectureship, you must go for the UGC NET Exam. The NET Exam is conducted in more than 80 subjects including Economics. Economics is also one of the subjects in the NET Exam. You are in first year of Economics and you can start your preparation in UGC NET. First read out the complete syllabus of UGC NET Exam and start preparing for it. Check out the topics from the B.Sc. Part and make them strong enough for UGC NET.     If you want it, then do it. The UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is a national level exam and one of the most difficult exams in India. Through this exam, candidates are selected for JRF and for the post of assistant professor. The basic preparation of UGC NET starts with the syllabus of Bachelor and Masters courses. So, try to make strong command on the syllabus of Bachelors in economics, it will be helpful to make good command over UGC NET Syllabus.
    It will be beneficial for you to make some notes according to UGC NET Syllabus of Economics while studying in Bachelor and Masters degree.

BA alone cannot fulfill the eligibility for UGC NET.
