The Jnanadabhiram Barooah (J. B. ). Law College is one of the leading law colleges in Northeast India, imparting legal education since its inception in 1969. The fee charged for the law courses is nominal, and admission is based on the eligibility of students to get selected on merit through an admission test and interview. You have to fill out the form of admission if you have a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2, and then the college conducts an entrance exam. The interview is conducted on college premises as per the schedule released by the college, and the interview language is usually English but you are allowed to speak in Assamese.
