I am taking it in the positive sense as lastly we use to waste too much of money in filling several forms but now we have at first fill one form and if qualified then we have to fill several other forms.

Yes, as mentioned by aru chopra, GATE score provides the best parameters to identify the aptitude, english, field specific skills of the students. So, there will not be needed to put separate exams in this prospective. But in another way, if candidate unable to qualify in GATE then he/she will wait for the next time or may not have that much amount for retrying. At all, it's very beneficial for the student not to have extra burden for separate exams as it is based on GATE only.

aru.chopra thanks for the invitation :)
its good from both point of view. .means why give separate exam for separate jobs it will also help students to concentrate on their preparation that if they won't manage to get admission in IIT for Mtech then at least they can apply for jobs in these company's on the basis of their score.

GATE score has an additional job prospective than the M.Tech admission possibilities. Companies are also benefited as they don't need to conduct a technical selection test.

GATE exam is one of the best to analyze the technical knowledge of graduates. That's why companies are looking for students with a valid GATE score for their placements.
