JRF is a Junior Research Fellowship or in other worlds Scholarship for the doctoral studies, which is given to the students who plan for Phd. The link provided by Priya gives you rest of the details. You can also look at the link below:

Hi Seema,
JRF stands for the Junior Reseach Fellowship and is considered for lectureship. This does not holds any equivalence to M.Phil/ Ph.D as these both are degrees where as JRF is a recruitment procedure for the science post graduates.
