Kindly advise if i go for distance learning ie. PGDBA, due this will have weightage in the finance and Accounts industry

Distance education is good only for people who have some years of relevant experience in the field. Incase you do not have 3 or more years of work experience then you better get that before joining MBA or alternatively do MBA through a regular course for having better opportunities in placements.
