    Yes, you can sit on counselling of two different states for BE and B.Tech admission. Preparing for an entrance exam like JEE Main or for that matter MHT CET or KEAM is no walk in the park. But, even if one crosses this hurdle with relative comfort, there are more down the lane that are almost like a web. Here we are talking about the complex admission processes weaved across different states. Take for example, the B.Tech admission process for other state candidates in Himachal, where you get 15% reservation for all India candidates; admission is first based on JEE Main rank, followed by merit in HPCET.     Yes, you can sit in the counseling for each course in each state for which you have given your exam.

    You can sit for both the counselling of both state. In many states, there are 15% quota for other state students. You can apply as other state candidate.

    Yes, sure you can. Until and unless both counselling dates will not clash, then you have to obviously choose one (if it is not online counseling).
