Last year, 41 LPA was the package offered from Thapar & 31 LPA was of CU, are these numbers true or just a to lure students for admission?

It is true but this pack is through the off campus, the student who got this pack had applied for the off campus companies that doesn't came to the college and then he got the pack but the average pack of the campus placements is 10 LPA.
