lecture job after distance education

I've completed B.tech in chemical engg with 85% & working for past one year as a research engineer & doing MBA in Operations management in Sikkim Manipal University by distance mode. after completing MBA, is it possible for me to get a lecturer job? is distance education accepted as per aicte norms?

Most institutions now require Lecturer-ship aspirants to cleat UGC NET or SLET exam. These exams are held twice a year. You can appear for it after your post graduation. Distance education will NOT matter if your distance education institute is UGC approved.
