Hi,Agriculture is a primary source of livelihood for the majority of Indians. Thus, generally it remains the last priority among students choosing a career option. Which is a very wrong assumption. The graduates of the Department of Biotechnology and biosciences are essentially taught with a strong multidisciplinary approach, being trained in both applied biological sciences and applications through a rigorous curriculum, augmented by hands-on experience during internships. They are thus well trained to handle various assignments required by the industry and are well-equipped to diversify into various disciplines. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings.
