If you are planning for a PhD in India, then you must know the best way to choose the right university for you. The eligibility criteria to get Admission for PhD in LPU is: Masters degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate. 5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) / specially able candidates. Selection Criteria: An applicant will be short listed for interview on the basis of his/ her score in the entrance examination LPUNEST (Ph.D. ). The final selection for admission in Ph.D. will be based on the performance in the Interview subject to scoring minimum marks. Exemption from Entrance Test Applicants who have qualified UGC (NET /JRF) / CSIR (NET / JRF) / SLET / GATE / GPAT / ICAR Teacher Fellowship or cleared M.Phil programme (In regular mode only) are exempted from LPUNEST (Ph.D. ). IMP: Exemption is for LPUNEST (Ph.D. ) only but the applicant will have to fill the LPUNEST (Ph.D. ) form and appear for the Interview. The applicants are required to bring the original documents against which exemption is sought at the time of interview. Hello, If you are looking for Ph.D. you need to choose such a university that not just has recognitions and facilities but also helps you in you throughout. I am from Delhi and is currently enrolled with full time job and also pursuing Ph.D. This seems a bit difficult, but I must say that I am getting full support from my university.
