llo..i am in final year of physics hons.Now tezpur university is offering M.Sc in both of physics and 'nanoscience and technology'..

now I am considering applying for nanoscience and technology..So I would like to know how is this field? what are the emplyment options after msc in nanoscience and technology? Plz suggest whether I should follow up physics or nanoscience?

    Dear Suvendu, such narrow differentiation in specialization of M.Sc. has no relevance as far as career is concerned because M.Sc. does not offer any great career in any case. Mostly, you will be offered jobs of lectureship in school/college or in pharmaceutics/pathology/ biotechnology organizations. Secondly, nano science in India has not gone beyond some research institutes and universities. Even there, Ph.D. is commonly saught. As a post graduate, you will be offered posts of research assistants only.
