<p>As a student, I think LPU is an excellent choice if you are keen on getting good placements for mechanical engineering and CSE. In LPU, the top and best companies in the core and IT sectors come on the campus every year and recruit students in design, manufacturing, production, quality, testing, software and even in the research departments. LPU's mechanical engineers get placed in industry giants such as Bosch, Hyundai, Honda, Ashok Leyland and numerous more, whereas the students of CSE get placed in industry giants such as Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Capgemini and TCS. The college has very strong industry interfaces, frequent workshops, live projects, industrial trainings and internships to prepare students for the industry. The best thing is LPU offers both core and interdisciplinary opportunities, so mechanical students too can shift towards automation, robotics, and software if they need to. Placements are favorable overall, training is good, and exposure is extremely broad.</p>

<p>In LPU, B.Tech CSE is an Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. To enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum would provide a WILD CARD entry to industry. Google, Intel, DELLEMC, BOSCH, CISCO, VMWARE, PEGA, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, COMPTIA to name a few. Well I would be happy to share certain facts about CSE placements. The average package for B.Tech CSE at LPU in the session2020-21 was Rs. 5.7 LPA. The highest package so far for B.Tech CSE student is Rs 42 Lacs/annum job offer from Microsoft in role of Software Engineer. CSE students are placed in AMAZON at a package of 28 LPA. Rs. 24 LPA for B.Tech/M.Tech CSE by Optmyzr. Rs. 80,000 per month as the highest Internship Stipend for summer training under Microsoft. Almost every MNC visit LPU to recruit students with an average package of 612 LPA. If I talk about LPU alumni, name any dream company (like Google, Apple, Oracle, Facebook, Yahoo, Microsoft, Snapdeal, etc. ). That anyone would aspire to work for, you will find at least one LPU alumni as an employee of that organisation. A few of them are earning beyond some Crore rupees per annum. In nutshell if I talk LPU CSE is a promising domain to be in. In CSE, they offer Cyber Security, IoT, Data Science, Machine Learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur.</p>
