There is a term CDR (Curriculum Development Research) held after each and every 6 months in which many senior industry people suggest that what is the need of present day industry are. Faculty knows all the strengths and weaknesses of students are noted and course correction is devised after the considerable suggestions of Industry tycoons. Thus LPU cares what to teach according to the demand of industry, so that all the students can be able to cop up the outer word after qualifying from LPU. Dear Saezy, Yes, LPU is the best for the CSE programme. In fact, the CSE programme at LPU is very famous and have a good placement record. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Let me highlight what I have out figured: LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and a dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it.
