LPU is better or CU is better as university?

I am a student at LPU and I can say that I am happy with all the facilities at LPU. LPU extends over more than 600 acres, LPU is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students from all over the globe, over 4000+ faculty members and staffs, offering more than 200 programme. If you are concerned about the standard of education in the university then without blinking you can go for LPU, I will tell you why. As the quality of education is comparably very good in the LPU and there are 43 Lacs+ books and e-books covering all the subject fields in the library to provide the extra knowledge of tech, sports, innovation, motivation to the students. As a 2nd-year B.Tech student of LPU, I can say with my experiences and suggestion of my various seniors, if you want a good placement in a product or service-based company and you are willing to explore and learn new things then just go for LPU. The main reason, why I choose LPU is the placement record, LPU is excellent when we look into its placement stats, major companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Dell, and other growing lots of companies use to come for recruitment of LPU students. Various companies visit LPU for placement drives every year, and it is awarded for the most number of placements in a year. After taking admission in LPU I decided to join some extracurricular activity to enhance my confidence and in LPU there are so many events use organized by the student welfare society, when I was started to join some events, that really boost up my confidence and there are so many people from the different background when I started to talk with them, I can clearly SEE some changes in my communication skill. So if you want to enhance yourself then LPU will be the best for you. Now I can say LPU is the best decision of my life.

Hi there, Well, a very courageous question! Firstly, I am not in a position to judge such comparisons, I just share what I have experienced before. I suggest people to join LPU based on my own experience. I have been studying at LPU now from past 4 years, and I am highly satisfied with everything about LPU. Talking about academics, LPU has a an amazing Faculty, the scores of students are to crave for. The extracurricular activities are active throughout the year. The campus itself is so mesmerising that when students go on summer vacation to their respective homes, they crave for the hostels then. The residential facility at LPU is the best. The resources are on a large scale and students get benefitted every way. I would suggest LPU out of all, I am being specific for this. So my vote will go with LPU. Hope this helps. Thanks.

LPU offers all its students an endless scope of opportunities besides just academics excellence and qualities like perseverance, as you will find relevant events happening around the campus halls for every discipline, and extracurricular activities and sports! Reason why LPU is better:- 1. Lovely Professional University has become a leading and a progressive educational hub in North India. Owing to the global approach that they adopt to instill the practicalities of their respective careers into the students has made LPU the most preferred educational destination among the students these days. Lovely Professional University is rapidly growing up large on the scale of education in the country. Recently being inducted high in the ranking by NIRF. 2. Placements-The placements are comparatively high in LPU than other University. About 90% of the students get placed every year in our department. Many well-known companies visit here for placement. If you have a fine knowledge of the subject, you will surely get placed. The highest package goes from 7 Lacs to 26 Lacs, and the average is up to 5 Lacs. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. There is a huge opportunity to get placed in a good MNC through Lovely Professional University. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. Faculty:-There are good faculty members that help you become more dedicated to the studies and helps you at each and every phase in your studies. Faculty is best. 5. Campus Life: At the end of a tiring day or week, everyone expects entertainment and refreshing ways to uplift their daily boring schedule. But here in LPU, they conduct so many big events where they call popular celebrities and help their students to feel more alive and energetic, which make the life in LPU more of fun. Hostels:-The first thing that almost parents are concerned about is the safety. And LPU is one campus that takes security of all their students very seriously. There are automated biometric machines that keep a record of each entry and exit in the hostel.

I am a alumni of LPU and I can tell you take it is actually a good place for ambitious and focused people to study in. If you want to explore, learn, grow and want to get placed in good companies then I must say please go ahead and take admission. Few Points which will help you take decision:-Campus:- Lovely Professional University is an impeccable university. LPU is not only the university with the largest campus in North India but also the university with the most diverse student population. Students from all across the world live in the hostel, which comes the closest to being 'a home away from home'. The mixture of races and religions helps to build a decent environment. Education : The quality of education is good so far. If you are an average student and worried about the standard of education in the university then you can cross that off from your list, as the education here is delivered properly, interactively and conveniently. Placements-LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. There is a huge opportunity to get placed in a good MNC through Lovely Professional University. Many companies visit here for placement drive, and it is awarded for the most number of placements in a year. Hi Sameeksha As compared to LPU, CU, Chandigarh University is the better university. Which is why it has been entitled as the youngest yet the fastest growing university in ASIA. It achieved the NAAC A+ grade at such a young age. CU has proved itself in all terms, be it internships, placements, Course curriculum, Infrastructure, the latest facilities, Hostels, TBI etc. And many more. CU is better in all terms !

I don't know about LPU. But Chandigarh University is recognised worldwide. I thas tie up with different universities across world. The university has properly designed curriculum for the students. Proper infrastructure has been provided for the students of engineering be it Software engineering or Hardware. According to my point of view, Chandigarh University is better as compared to Lovely Professional University in all aspects such as Research and development, career and Placement, scholarships, etc. I am going to share some important points on the basis of which you can analyze which is better. Research and development: Chandigarh University has 32 industry tie-ups in various fields such as Engineering, Hospitality, Management & Sciences. CU is playing a pro-active role in transforming and constantly elevating the learning process by involving as a major stakeholder. It has 1st rank in filing the highest patents in various areas. Adjudged as University with Best Placements, Chandigarh University (NAAC A+ grade University) has become an undisputed leader in the region. The surge in corporate of 60% visiting the university stands testimony to the excellent performance by our Alumni in the respective fields.
