Lpu or Amity university which one is the right choice for civil?

Being alumni of LPU, I can answer this question. My brother has also took admission in B.Tech Civil at LPU and I am amazed to observe the learning and talent he is developing. This programme at LPU includes a blend of hands-on experiential learning and theoretical foundational courses. The very best include a mix of traditional learning in laboratories and classrooms with cooperative programs that allow students to gain work experience. Hi, Civil engineers build the world's infrastructure. The curriculum is so framed that it covers all the major sub-divisions of the field. This discipline serves the purpose of creating professionals who can meet today's demand in the construction industry. LPU is the best to pursue civil engineering. LPU has its student organisation known as "bridge, " which conducts various events and competitions to bring forth creativity and to award the best engineer in the making. The consortium of former LPU alumni and an active group of engineering professionals with a sound civil background share their experience on various technologies, industries, methodologies, and processes adapted by many MNC. Moreover, Intellectual Industry officials regularly visit the school to guide faculty members and students themselves. Workshops are being arranged for enhancing student knowledge. School of Civil Engineering, Lovely Professional University, has signed MOU with NHAI for giving paid internship opportunities to our existing Civil Engineering students. Learning by Doing, in which fresher students of the school of civil engineering prepared the building models under the guidance of faculty. The placements are excellent. Hello, Both Are doing good in the education sector, I have done engineering from LPU and I have a lot of friends from the civil branch and they all are placed in good sectors with great packages. Students are placed in companies like Cleanmax Solar, Al Rakha (UAE), Dharam Consulting, Era Infra Engineering Ltd. , KEC International, Simplex, WSP India, XL Dynamics, CVENT, Rishishwar Construction, Premier Developers and Contractors, etc. In Civil Engineering LPU emphasizes the evolution of manmade infrastructure as LPU understands how they have evolved to the present scenario. With the advancement of technology in leaps and bounds, the future of civil engineering in the years to come will be crucial, especially with the establishment of smart cities. LPU is nurturing our students to adapt and be equipped with this ever-changing scenario. To cater to these needs the department is structured into five vibrant centers of studies: Structural. Hydraulics. Environment. Geotechnica. Transportation. As per my friend's experiences, those are graduated in civil from LPU. LPU is Imparting knowledge through site visits, case studies, real-time designs of structures. It has well-equipped lab facilities like concrete testing, cement testing, soil testing, surveying, highway material testing, and structural mechanics. They are Teaching through PPTs, videos, images, and animations. Manual, as well as computerized structural designing skills with CAD and soft-wares like STAAD Pro, MX Road, are provided to the students. Expertise knowledge of planning in construction is provided to the student both manually as well as software MS Project.

Among LPU or Amity, I find LPU is better for civil engineering. One of the oldest and the broadest engineering disciplines, Civil Engineering involves planning, designing, constructing, maintaining and supervising infrastructures which include facilities essential to modern life like highways, bridges and tunnels, schools, hospitals, airports and other buildings, sewage systems and water treatment facilities. Subsequently, the course also involves protecting the public and environmental health as well as improving existing infrastructure. An Engineering programme which articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental & Highway Engineering, Construction Management etc. Which are in sync with industry requirements. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) HIGHLIGHTS Credit Transfer Student after successful completion of 2 years. There are good numbers of Universities offering this course but I would say LPU is best. I have done MBA from Lovely Professional University and I had many friends from Civil Engineering, so I have idea course, Placements, Curriculum, as they use to share with me. Hi Sameeksha, First of all let me tell you, Civil engineers generally work in a variety of locations and conditions. It is common for them to split their time between working in an office and working outdoors at construction sites so that they can monitor operations or solve problems onsite. Now to work in multilingual environment, there is a high requirement of exposure to both National & International platform at the time of your pursuance of course itself. So in my opinion, it's better to grab the opportunity of International Exposure provided by the University. I am not sure about the offerings of other Universities, but being alumni of Lovely Professional University, I must assure you about such offerings of LPU itself. LPU's credit transfer policy allows students to pursue the terminal semester/year of their degree and further receive the final Degree certificate from the foreign partner university only. At the same time student can go for Summer/Winter School, Semester Exchange. Both the Universities are good keeping in mind the major points like the curriculum and placements but One must consider B.Tech Course from Lovely Professional University because of the following reasons: 1.
