LPU or AMITY, which one is better to pursue BCA-MCA dual degree programme?

LPU is good option. They place their students in good companies across the globe. Many good companies visit them every year for placements. They have tie ups with many good foreign universities for exchange programs.

Placements, scholarships, exposure to the industry, efficient and knowledgeable faculty, flexible curriculum and teaching pedagogies, infrastructure, and diverse culture make LPU incomparable. It is one of the best programmes in LPU having wonderful placements.Most of our students get placed in reputed companies and designer houses with few opting for higher studies and entrepreneurship. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. LPU has highly qualified faculty from NITs, IITs, IIITs, etc.

Between Amity University or LPU, I would always prefer to choose LPU. I will tell you why? My cousin is studying at Amity so I would like to share her experience with you all. First of all, Amity is not at all worth to pursue higher education. It is a big NO to Amity. No management you will find there, no good faculty members nothing is there. It is just wastage of money. They have a high fee structure and every time they charge students for rubbish. Trust me, it is a huge disappointment. They only think about their publicity and making a profit from student’s fees. My cousin regrets now for studying there. Moreover, students get spoil here easily. You will not find any practical discussion or practical Lab for MCA Student. Which one is mandatory right now marked competences. And you hardly will get placements. Please avoid to get admission at Amity or else you will regret it later on. Professors don't pay attention to student’s problem. They just teach for their salary not for the development of students. This college is just for fun and enjoyment, not for education. On the other side, I have studied about LPU and got to know that it has the highest placement records and right from Google to Microsoft, LPU students are working with top brands at a package of 1 crore and above. ! Around 450+ companies visit every year for campus-placement of students at LPU, where more than 90% are MNCs. Moreover, 80+ companies that recruit from IITs, NITs, and IIMS also recruit from LPU. In-fact I have read it in its website that India's top talent company Aspiring Minds has ranked LPU as having the Most Employable Students consecutively twice in a row. And I am saying it all because I have personally gone through all its ranking and awards. I will not guide you anything wrong. In fact the fee structure of LPU is less as compared with Amity. Rankings are also good for LPU. And recently LPU hosted the biggest Science event ISC106 where our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was the chief guest. At LPU, ragging is strictly prohibited while at Amity, I am not sure about this. If you are choosing amity over LPU, then it will be a big mistake for your career.

Hey their all, I am an proud alumni of LPU. It has every thing from Placements to world class infrastructure. Playgrounds for indoor and outdoor games both. It is one of the best programme in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies and designer houses with few opting for higher studies and entrepreneurship. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. And they also get an semester off if in OJT. LPU has highly qualified faculty from NITs, IITs, IIITs, etc. LPU also concerned about placement of student they have PEP classes they make their students industry ready. But these classes are extra from curriculum so you need to pay them some extra amount also Infrastructure:All the facilities are available in the campus itself, a student do not need to go outside for anything. In the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and student, Shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 3 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM etc.

I am associated with LPU since long, so I am well aware about the benefits of Dual Programs in LPU. Benefits if pursuing Dual Programs in LPU are like, 1)There is option of Exit after completion of first programme. 2)Student will get two degree & two CGPA 3)There will be course Fee benefits for the students. Course Fees are too some extent you can say locked as per the course fee as mentioned at the time of taking admission. There is literally sudden surge in Fees which is relevantly awkward. For 2nd programme, Course Fees will be either any one of the following whichever will be the most beneficial for the student. A)Course Fee without scholarship of the year of taken admission. B)Course Fee with Scholarship of that year I. e commencement of 2nd programme. Scholarship depends upon performance in 1st programme as applicable. School of Computer Application in LPU is having multiple key points like following, 1. School of Computer Application, LPU is ranked among the top four Computer Applications Institutes of North India by NASSCOM. 2. School was started in the year 2001. 3.1500+ Students from all across India and 240+ International students from 15+ countries around the globe. 4.90% of Faculty members of the School are Doctorate. 5. Students have an instant access to the latest technology labs like iMac, SAP, Cisco, etc. That keeps them updated with the ever-changing technologies. MCA last Year Placement record: 12.5 LPA (National Instruments) was the highest salary package last year. 93% students got placed. 4.7 LPA was the average salary package for the batch. He always keeps on appraising LPU. Based on his experience I can say Lovely Professional University is the best option for BCA+MCA.
