I am an alumnus of LPU and completed my MBA programme there. One of my friend's brother is also studying there in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT ) Let me share a few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU : Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. university-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchen and bakery are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. This course exposes students to lectures from experts. The students are provided with internships with hotels to relate theory with industry practices. The course inculcates Entrepreneurship to Build Job Providers of the Future. The teaching methodology involves Visual, Auditory, Read &amp; Write and Kinesthetic experiences which allow the student learn by heart. Food festival on various occasions &amp; events is a part of student learning wherein faculty gives practical teaching to the students.
