This course exposes students to lectures from experts. The students are provided with internships with hotels to relate theory with industry practices. The course inculcates Entrepreneurship to Build Job Providers of the Future. The teaching methodology involves Visual, Auditory, Read &amp; Write and Kinesthetic experiences which allow the student learn by heart. Food festival on various occasions &amp; events is a part of student learning wherein faculty gives practical teaching to the students. One of my friend's brother is also studying there in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT ) Let me share a few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU : Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. university-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchen and bakery are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. We have few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. We are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. Placement: Good placements record with minimum 10% students selected as Management Trainee (Junior Executive level) till date and the placement is with brands like Cox &amp; Kings, Carnival Cruise, Jet Airways, Oberoi, Taj, Leela, etc. The highest package offered for this programme at LPU is INR 8 LPA.
