Hi Ipsita, By CU, if you meant Calcutta University, well the University seems to offer Regular courses and IGNOU on the other hand offers Correspondence education. Hence, here the comparison has to be made on the basis of your preference and also the mode through which you are keen to study. Although, a regular mode of education is always considered a better option.
