Hi, Its good to know that you wish to pursue MBA, however as per your profile I would suggest you to work for 2-3 years after completing your B.tech and then opt for MBA. The advantage of this step would be that after working you will know in which field you are actually interested in i.e. if you are interested in technical field than you can pursue masters in same or related field, where as if you are interested in management you can pursue MBA. However as per your interest you can pursue MBA immediately after completing your B.tech, you need to take various management entrance test like CAT,MAT etc to get admission in MBA institutes. To Add to MSk's answer,If you wish to pursue MBA right after B.Tech,please keep in mind the following: 1.One of the most important selection criteria in a good MBA school is 'great grades'.In case you wish to pursue MBA right after B.Tech,the best time to start your prepration depends on you.If you are a quick learner, or you have a good grasp over English, Logical reasoning, and you possess good Quantaitative aptitude and if you learn more in less time, then you can join a coaching institute in your final year but you should ensure that you balance your final year B.Tech studies with entrance exam preparation. 2.The duration of preparation time also depends on the type of MBA school that you will be targeting.All tier A schools require a 99percentile while different B schools have different requirements but overall,the higher the score the better become your chances to choose tier A or good B schools. 3.You can take a mock entrance exam to assess your current aptitude and decide teh prepration that you require,accordingly.
