Hello Ankit Kumar, GATE is not necessarily required for M.Tech admissions in India. If you don't have GATE scores, you can aim to apply for M.Tech courses in private academic institutions in the country or seek study abroad opportunities as well. You can pursue M.Tech without GATE exam. You can opt for sponsored seats available in IITs, IISCs, and NITs to appear for specific M.Tech entrance exams at private institutes or pursue an MS degree abroad which will require you to submit GRE as well as language proficiency scores as part of the admission process.

4 years agoHello Ankit Kumar, if I may say so, GATE is not like NEET. There are plenty of colleges which admit students based on different criteria. Though many colleges are veering towards GATE as preferred choice. You just need to download brochure of your intended college and read in detail about criterion for admission to M.Tech and you will straight away come to know the status. Best wishes to you.
