It's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your post graduation M.Tech in mechanical engineering. A student needs to do graduation in engineering before he can think of doing post-graduation. These days many of the institutions controlled by the government accept GATE scores for giving admissions for postgraduate courses.
