mam,I've completed D.EL.ED.It is not equivalent of B.ED.But can i seat ssc exam for Jr.high school(5-8)after2014 & get marks by that degree.
I am a pry. school teacher.u know after 2014 B.ED degree will be mandatory for school teachers in wbssc.so if i seat for Jr.high or upper pry.(5 -8) vacancy then can i eligible for the post & get marks for D.EL.ED at the place of B.ED.............

Hi,
No, B.ED is not equivalent to Diploma in Elementary Education.
You should apply for B.ED as that is mandatory to be a teacher in schools. And further you can plan to pursue masters in one of your specialized subjects followed by PhD in order to further enhance your teaching career.
