Manipal University entrance exam has introduced negative marking in the MAHCET exam, will it affect my ranking from previous years?

Till 2018, in the 200 questions, 1 mark was awarded for correct answer and 0 for wrong answer but from 2019 it has 4 marks for correct answer and -1 for wrong answer. Now, the total marks are 800, will it change the ranking of branches cutoff from the previous years?

Yes, this will definitely affect the rank. This can increase or decrease your ranks subjected to the correctness of your guess work. Now suppose you have attempted total 50 questions, in which 10 questions were attempted by using your guess work. Now let's see what will happened? 1. Case-1 : If 10
