Marine courses after B.Tech.

Indian Maritime University (IMU) offers the following PG level programs at its various campuses located in India as under. Postgraduate programmes : a) 2-Year M.Tech (Marine Engineering & Management) at Kolkata campus b) 2-Year M.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering) at Visakhapatnam campus c) 2-Year M.Tech (Dredging & Harbour Engineering) at Visakhapatnam campus d) 2-Year MBA (Port & Shipping Management) at Chennai and Cochin campuses e) 2-Year MBA (International Transportation & Logistics Management) at Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Chennai and Cochin campuses. All admissions to the various PG courses at IMU and its Affiliated Institutes will be done through all-India Online Common Entrance Tests (CETs) which will be conducted in the month of June. Candidates will be required to qualify this CET in order to be eligible for admissions to the respective Programmes. Eligibility criteria for a, b and c : BE/B.Tech in Marine Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Naval Architecture with at least 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. Eligibility criteria for d and e: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Universities. A minimum of 50% marks in English subject in class 10th or class 12th or UG Degree.
