Masters in social work from IGNOU

How reputed is the course MA insocial work from IGNOU? What are the career opportunities after I've done this course. Also which course is more beneficial 2 year MA course or 1 year PGD course? I've done BA in English Hons and PGD in journalism. Please suggest. Regards Kamala

Hi, I.G.N.O.U is a great option are even loads of career opportunities are there once you complete M.A Social Works. I would suggest you to make a right choice keeping in mind your strengths, interest and career goals. B.A English goes well with Journalism and social work is a different segment.I

Any such qualification will bring you credit with a research degree like Ph.D.You can't stop at MA.

Kamala, your two courses viz graduation and PGD are not in one line and you are yet again thinking of a third line in terms of MA-SW. To have a good career, your all courses must be a progression to the previous one. accordingly, I will suggest you to go for MA-Mass communication or MBA-Media planni
