Hi, Please remember the seats in all the good B-schools is almost occupied, so I would suggest you to take CAT-2013 and various other management entrance tests, and score well so that you may get admission in good B-school of your choice. Please remember in order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT,etc. The other option for you would be to work for 2-3 years and then opt for MBA, the advantage of this step would be that after working for few years you would know which specialization to opt in MBA that can further enhance your career prospects. This work experience of yours would give you competitive advantage over other candidates with no work experience during MBA admission. Finally, if you work for some years then you may yourself manage the expenses of your further studies. Please note that, the final selection in MBA or PGDM program is made on the basis of: 1. Education background of the students. 2. Score in various management entrance test. 3. Performance in group discussions and personal interview. 4. Work experience if any. MAT 2013

I am in final sem BBM.As i had no plans of getting into MBA i had not written any entrance exams, now i am planning to take up MAT in September.My question is if i clear MAT in sept then do i get admission for 2013 - 2015 or for the year 2014 - 2016? I dont want to waste a year.so please help me.
