MBA of IIPM is useless as they do not have recognition. But what about the PhD of IIPM, Kolkata. Is it valid? Is it a distance degree? infrm

I know that BBA/MBA from IIPM don't have any value as they do not have recognition. But what about the PhD programme of IIPM, Kolkata? They claim that they are only acting as a research center of Mysore University. Please inform me if the PhD degree of IIPM, Kolkata is valid or not.
