MBA or Hotel Management, which course should I pursue after completing my B.Com?
-
Firstly figure out where you want to go. Corporate world or food chain business because both are far different specialisation areas. If you want to pursue MBA from a good college then you have to clear CAT and it you want a good hotel management college then also you have to clear hotel management entrance exam.

6 years agoAs you have done B.Com, it's good to do an MBA in finance which has better scope for the initialization of your graduation knowledge as that will not be useful in hotel management. -

6 years agoI would recommend you for MBA, because you have already completed your B.Com, and if you join HM, then you have to give 3 years and MBA also have more scope than HM. -
You can do MBA in hotel management. You can do it if you qualify any of the mentioned entrance test (such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ NEST accepted by various colleges and you should also have minimum of 50% in your Bachelors (any stream) for admission in the same. Admission in MBA is done via two modes- either through an entrance exam or direct admission which is based on merit basis or management quota basis. You can do it from:
Lovely Professional University - Punjab
National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management - Hyderabad
Kerala Institute of Tourism & Travel Studies
Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management -...more -

MBA has a wider scope but it all depends on your area of interest. If you have an inclination towards the hotel industry, you can apply for hotel management.
