hey i want to go for an mba, presently i am workin and i have 7 months experience, i want resign and continue with my studies for cat as my job is not growth oriented and has no work for me.... and my gap during this period would be one year... i have heard that we cant justify ourselves with gap
Well with the kind of academic scores mentioned by Naman, I would also suggest you to take up CAT exam and try to score good percentile so to increase the chances. You may also take help from various coaching institutes and to know about these, please refer to the link below:
Hi Naman,Pooja is absolutely right it depends on your presentaton, percentile and your selfconfidence to justify The admin committee.I would also suggest you to change your job, or else complete a year it would have been better if would have mentioned your working field.
Neway one other option is executive MBA, as you are interested in doing MBA you may also opt for executive MBA which you can opt after 1 year of working experience. It is specially for working professionals and on the other hand you can go for CAT which is undoubtedly the best.
Frankly speaking it all depends on you .how you present yourself in front of admission committee and whether you are able to give the right reasoning with confidence at that time and generally student do take a one year sabbatical from the job to appear for CAT and to get into one of the top notch B-School and as all B-Schools know that Entrance Examination like CAT is a tough nut to crack you should not face much problem justifying the same
